This course consists of the following units:

Unit 1 – Introduction to Supply Chain and Logistics
This unit introduces the basic concepts of supply chain and logistics, explaining how goods and services move from suppliers to consumers.

Unit 2 – Planning & Sourcing Operations
Learn how to plan supply chain activities effectively and source the right materials from reliable suppliers to meet business needs.

Unit 3 – Managing Procurement
Understand the procurement process, including selecting suppliers, negotiating terms, and managing purchasing to control costs and ensure quality.

Unit 4 – Managing Manufacturing Operations
Explore how manufacturing processes are managed within the supply chain to ensure products are made efficiently and meet customer demand.

Unit 5 – Inventory Management
Gain essential knowledge of inventory control methods to maintain the right stock levels, reduce waste, and ensure product availability.

Unit 6 – Transport Management
Learn how to manage transportation systems, select the best delivery methods, and ensure goods are moved safely and on time.

The Certificate in Supply Chain Management QLS Level 3 provides a strong foundation for entry-level roles in logistics and supply chain operations. Graduates can pursue careers as Supply Chain Assistants, Logistics Coordinators, Procurement Clerks, Inventory Controllers, or Transport Assistants. This course is ideal for those starting out in the industry or looking to enhance their existing knowledge. It also supports career progression into supervisory roles with experience and further study. Whether working in retail, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics services, learners will gain practical skills to contribute effectively to supply chain functions in a wide range of sectors.

At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement from the Quality Licence Scheme and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).
