The award in travel and tourism consists of just two highly detailed units that gives candidates the fundamental knowledge needed to have a great start in the travel and tourism industry.

Unit 1: Introduction to Travel & Tourism

Unit one takes a wide karma at the 21st century travel and the travel industry division, looking at its ongoing history and continuous significance in the present society. Unit 2: Managing the Quality of Tourism Products and Services

This unit introduces candidates to the various products, services and packages and services within the tourism sector, and the various components that make up these products and services. Candidates are taught how to create, thoroughly analyze, and manage these products and services. They also professionally examine destinations.

A level 1 award in travel and tourism exposes candidates to a wide range of job opportunities.  With a level 1 award in travel and tourism, you may find work in different places within the travel and tourism sector, from hotels, airports, sports centers, airline and transport companies, recreation centers, tourist attractions, travel agencies to stadiums. The salary scale within the travel and tourism industry ranges from £18,000 to £50,000.
