Project Management Short Course

The level 1 course in project management consists of the following 3 units:

Unit 1:  An overview of Project Management

This unit introduces candidates to the concept of project management, its stages and processes, what it entails, the key players in project management and how organisations can benefit from efficient project management.

Unit 2: Project Selling

Unit 2 expounds the concept of project selling to candidates, which involves the methodologies crucial to increase market share and aid customers’ bottom line and competitive position. The relationship between selling, marketing and project management is also examined.

Unit 3: Preparing Your Project

The last unit of the course discusses project preparation. In this unit, candidates are taken through project preparation plans. Candidates also learn the forms of project plans along with t key issues and aspects of each plan. They will be able to learn how to periodically validate or modify assumptions as the project evolves its purpose on completion of this unit.

A recognised project management certification can make one qualified for numerous career opportunities in top industries such as engineering and construction, financial services and in technology. This entry-level certificate also paves the way for higher-level studies. The average annual salary for starters in project management is around £20,000.
