Certificate in Business Risk Management QLS Level 3

This course contains five units. Each unit contains a different aspect of risk management.

Unit 1: Risk Management – An overview

All business at a certain point need risk management officials and the first unit of this course gives an overview as to what risk management is and candidates learn about what and how risks are managed and more.

Unit 2: Introduction to the Main Types of Business Risks

This unit explores the main types of business risks peculiar to any business or workplace environment. Candidates would be given a detailed analysis of these risks and how they can be preempted, mitigated and managed.

Unit 3: Key Risk Management Process

This unit seeks to educate candidates on the processes involved in risk management. This unit would be going deeper as regards the core parts of risk management processes. At the end of this unit, candidates would be able to implement the key processes involved in risk management.

Unit 4: Management of Financial Risks

Given that this is an essential part of risk management, candidates would be trained on how to avoid financial pitfalls such as loan penalties, loan deficits and the likes. This unit ensures that candidates stay out of the financial risk radar in their businesses and can manage them in the event of their occurrence.

Unit 5: How to Manage Technology Risk

This module gives a detailed review of the lapses involved in the technical aspect of a business such as service delivery, communication efficiency and website operations. This unit revolves around the technological risks involved in running a business and how they can be managed and mitigated.

Unit 6: Managing Operational Risks

The final unit of this course would educate candidates on the risks that can develop from the daily activities, system and policies of an organisation. This unit seeks to equip candidates on how they can manage operational risks. Candidates would further be taught on how to develop actionable strategies to abate operational hazards.

At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement from the Quality Licence Scheme and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).
