A good product marketing strategy isn’t something that happens by accident, but is instead a product of extensive planning and effective implementation. Marketing is the development of planning and practice of the idea, pricing, endorsement and sharing of ideas, goods and services to create exchanges which can meet the needs of individual and business goals.
Marketing is a profitable process of meeting the requirements of both marketers and consumers. Its aim is to get information and to develop understanding with customers so well that the service or the product suits them and sells itself.
After successful development of a product everyone wants to see this product in everyone's hand but this becomes hard without effective marketing planning. Marketing of a product requires the harmon9ization of lot of resources and process to market it successfully.
In successful marketing plan different processes are included and their implementation after one another is essential such as the marketing mix of 4P's and extended marketing mix of 8P's.
The unit provides a broad overview of marketing and explains the marketing process, product mix pricing strategies and the methods of selling products including a look at leveraging social media.
