Ethical dilemmas occur when there are two options and a choice can be made between both but neither of which is unambiguously acceptable or preferable. The difficulty arises when in a situational conflict; obeying one would result in transgressing another. They are also known as moral dilemmas.
The impact of ethical dilemmas on business can never be neglected as it can spoil the moral values of the workforce and increases the discouraging environment. A pessimistic approach at the workplace can be developed which can be the cause of the decrease in the efficiency of the cream employees which ultimately damage the progress of the business.
The unit provides detailed information about dilemmas with company policy, typical ethical dilemma examples and of course fork itself dilemmas with co-workers. It also illustrates the potential consequences of ethical dilemmas in business and how they can be addressed.
On the completion of this unit, learners will be able to understand the dilemmas with supervisor and dilemmas as a supervisor. Moreover, they will be capable of understanding what to do when making a mistake.
